I’m just gonna say it: I love Alpana Singh’s unrepentant goofiness. When I first got my mitts on her book I confess I groaned at the dippy subtitle. But as someone who routinely eats nachos off a cookie sheet in front of the TV at 2 AM . . . who am I to resist a wine pairing for tortilla chips?
Of course, she has a blog now. It’s mission? “Follow me as I go through everyday life just trying to figure out what to drink.” I can’t really argue with that either.
I, for one, have no use for Alpana Singh. If I had any leadership skills, I’d lead a gang over to WTTW and stage a sit-down strike ’til you get handed the reins to her show.

that would be cool. i think she seems fun so maybe it could be a siskel-ebert kind of thing. i bet she’s really a snob though…
actually, i’ve met her a bunch of times. she’s honestly unaffected and cool. and kind of a spaz. in a good way.
