More intrigue from the world of Wisconsin cheese. Unfortunately the offending blog has been taken down — so I’m unable to compare the posts for myself. But, I would take this opportunity to say that,  while I seem unable to stop  compulsively pointing out to people that Jeanne Carpenter is the communications director for the Wisconsin Dairy Business Innovation Center (a fact that’s not exactly hidden, but is hard to discern from a quick look at her blog), she also knows her Wisconsin cheese inside and out, and the Cheese Underground is a reliably good read.

And plagiarism is just obnoxious and lazy, whether you’re Maureen Dowd or “the Cheese Genius.”

In other news: apparently there’s going to be a Wisconsin Cheese Festival this November in Madison.
